About
A small studio for small businesses
Founder story
Atlas started in the back office of a family auto shop. A developer friend had quoted them eleven thousand dollars for a five-page website, then went quiet for four months. What eventually launched didn't work on a phone.
That shop is the reason this business exists. After a decade building software for companies with big budgets, our founder kept running into the same gap: the businesses that most need a good website are the ones most likely to get overcharged and underserved.
So Atlas was built around three commitments — a fixed price agreed before work starts, a launch date we actually hit, and a website you own outright, hosting and domain included in your name, not ours.
Today we work with plumbers, bakers, dentists, groomers, and consultants across the country. Same standard every time: fast, clear, and built to hold up.
"A website should work as hard as the person who owns it."
Our mission
Give every small business the kind of web presence that used to be reserved for companies with a marketing department.
Clear direction
You'll always know what stage the project is in, what we need from you, and when it ships.
Built to standard
Accessible markup, fast pages, and clean code — the same quality we'd build for a large brand.
Honest scope
If you don't need a feature, we'll say so. We'd rather keep a client for years than pad one invoice.
Local first
Our clients are the shops, trades, and practices that keep neighborhoods running.
